I finally dusted off the RX-A2 & gave it the same treatment to the cassette that I try to do for all of them in the collection. I have a Sunny VOX, aka Telefunken 8200 that needs a new 9v motor but the RX-A2 only needed a new pinch roller, a light lubrication & of course, speed was set & azimuth adjusted.
Odd fact about the RX-A2 is that the motor speed is set using a variable resistor mounted to a separate circuit board, mounted near the motor itself. Check out the results.
