This project has taken many months to complete. The paint job was just the beginning.

After all the work of rebuilding the whole box, re-belting the deck, installing the Superduper lighting mod and and the paint job it turned out that the BASS slider was no good.

I mailed that up to Norm (Superduper) and he fully rebuilt it for me...now all my sliders work perfectly and slide smoothly :-D

Some time ago I also received a new Japanese only top control panel from member BMoney that was in perfect condition so I installed that as well.

Since I had it open (again ;-) ) I did my patented pending blu tooth mod to round this bad boy out.

Now and only now is she ready to do some SERIOUS BLASTING!

With that said, I am taking it to a party at my dad's this weekend for Fathers Day!

Here she is in action....LOOK AT THOSE SPEAKER GO!

I agree about the sliders!!!
Beautiful clean usable power output now and smooooooth as Glass is the truth.
I know he mentioned using a slightly different curve on the slider feelers and I think it made a world of difference.
My woofers bounce like mad too and I dont find myself backing off on the bass as much as I had to in the past.
Im going to compare radios with my brothers M-70 this weekend. I am positive there is a big difference between the two.
My brother will be wanting not only the slider board done but an LED kit as well!!!

This being my first, one and only M70 I have nothing to compare it to. But this thing ROARS. But then, I'm not that surprised, this is what everyone says about it

This thing is a real power house!

Now all you need Chris is the big brother M90 ;-). You guys are absolutely right about getting the sliders rebuilt by Norm. One of the best M70 investments I made :-)
