Over a year ago I sold my minty Sharp 767 to a gentleman who was looking for either the 767 or 777 to put in this Art Show in NY city. The studio name is Essex Street and I have a few pics he sent me. I was able to purchase it back just recently but was a little upset when I received it and found a scratch on top of unit. At least everything was still fully working and still looks beautiful and sounds fantastic  Here are some pics from show and when I received unit :-)

Thats pretty cool. I think boomboxes are art, but putting a radio in an empty room, doesn't make it his art....its kind of stealing in my mind.

Nice 767, sorry it got scratched.

Glad it got only a small scratch! Bill will fix it in a heart beat!

People wearing diamond rings, sapphire crystal watch glass, bracelet, scratch not only boomboxes but also scratch their car handle area and everywhere they stick it.
There are also people with long nails... ouch! :w00t:
One needs to watch what they wear while using boomboxes. :-D haha
The only scratch I have on my like new 777 is a fine scratch on the top under the handle. I know how it got that. The seller lifted it up to show the weight....and it happened right in front of me ....from his watch...I almost cried.
