Nice Work Sin...I'm still cleaning my Macdonald.......Looks like the SCR and the Macdonald shared the same bed......Mine is as nasty as your's..... 
....It's comin clean though.....I'm working on an M-70 so I'm a little distracted at the moment....A good distraction though....

Masterblaster84 obviously knew it was a diamond in the rough.As it turns out,it's an amazing looking box! The SCR-8 sounds really good with most types of music.Only if your bass obsessed would you have reservations about its sound.It's really a nicely balanced box. The wildest thing is to watch the light show from the full length V.U.s

I did that's why I sent these boxes to new homes here and not to some schlep on e-gay. The RX-5050 that went to skippy and the SCR-8 that went to Sin came from one ebay seller about 2 years ago. They both had the same funky yellow coating but the coating washed off so I knew a couple of you true collectors could clean them up nicely. I just didn't have the time or energy to go at them, I'm glad they ended up with skippy and Sinister as they've proven to be handy with boxes like this.

Years of trying to salvage 40 year old parts to keep originality on my mustang have opened my eyes to good cleaning solutions......
The M-70 will be a challenge though....But I'm up to it......
