If I had a choice I'd pick the black one too. Gold is ok. Gold CONION is the only one that looks nice out of all the ones mentioned. Lopez has it and i love it. His TC-999 is nice too!

yup -- thats it -
and then frank ( hemiguy ) and norm :superduper: both worked on it -
so it looks very mint now

I think it's a great Boombox. I have to confess tho that color scheme with the warm gold next to the cold silver does not work for my personal taste. Some people like red cars some people like blue ones. Still I'd love to own one just for what it is. I have to say the black and silver version of this box is probably what I think of as being the best looking box I've ever seen.
