Emerson Mdl# MS7635N slight restoration

Hello! This is my first post on the boards, so do be patient please! I recently acquired an Emerson boom box thing with detachable speakers.The problem is, the left cassette door is loos and sometimes prevents the tape from being played properly, and the play button seems to be stuck, rendering the left cassette player unusable. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Every other feature works fine...

If the left door is loose something's probably broken (inside). This might also apply to the stuck button. First thing you should do is open it up and see if you can spot anything that's wrong.
