I just had to do it today because the weather is beautiful!
Two weeks ago Peter aka Blasterpunk gave me the parts to make this monster of a radio mint again Thanks a lot Peter!
The only thing that is not original right now are two knobs but I found quite nice Grundig replacements
Two cassette keys were replaced, one selctor switch cap, 3 EQ caps and even the cassette library door on the back!

awesome box max . i had one of these when they first came out around 1988/89 ish

i traded it for a sub box and amp for my 69 caddy .

now i miss the caddy the amp/sub box and the wheely 5000 ,can't win man .

Magnificent! Such a lovely example of the biggest one piece boombox. The only thing that lets those boxes down is the silly fake spectrum analyzer graphic, IMO.
