Hello, asking what the most popular units are among members here may fuel your drive and hone your radar in. Most have preference as to their core collection , and their go to box. For me, disco lites are one of my favs, my Technidyne TD-7000 is my go to for light show. If I`m in a mood, i hook up all 4 and tune to the same station. It`s the aesthetics .

Since you`re in Canada , Clairtones are generally readily available , the 7978 is a favorite with akas Rising 20/20 , a YORX - K3681 - all have Rising speakers and electronics . This box fully working can be had in the $450 -$700 range , upwards of $1000 in the box. The Clairtone 7980 aka Helix 4635 , aka Conion CF-100 , can be pricey in mint condition. New condition in box, expect to be in the $3000 - $5000 range depending on the day. JVC M-90 , average condition $2000-$3500. New in box, over $5000 easy. Here is a new in box RC-M70.
