So I went down to Dunedin on weekend to go see The Eagles. Awesome show. Played pretty much everything you would want to hear, including few of their solo releases.

But seeing as was in Dunedin, had to catch up with Craig/NZBoom. This was the plan.
Seems together we only missing a 520 & 824.

I've seen videos of the Eagles with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, and it looks like they put on a really good show. I've liked Vince for almost 30 years, and there are times that Deacon sounds just like his dad. I can only imagine how much better it is in person!

That "stairway to heaven" group shot =     :hooray: :afro:

Oh no, there’s a whole lotta missing Sanyos besides those. Sanyo was one of those manufacturers that were big on Boomboxes and made tons of different models. Even the highly regarded M9994 looks like missing? And don’t get me started with minis, Sanyo made more than I can count on those and they are virtually all terrific sounding, with unmatched soundstage & clarity, but because they are minis, obviously won’t be bass monsters. Looks like maybe need to collect a few more, lol.

Hey Norm, Craig described it as a Sanyo MX day on Facebook. He stated that the two that are missing are "pretty much the same radios the 520 and the 840."

The models shown are:

M-X66
M-X310
M-X320
M-X620
M-X650
M-X720
M-X820
M-X920
M-X960

I knew Deacon had joined but had never heard of Vince. They were on point getting both, Vince lead 70% of songs, Deacon did couple. They almost sounded like the original album cuts. Both rather sharp on a axe too, Joe Walsh is insane.

Would have taken us all day trying to get all the Sanyos out. Ha. M-X family was the plan. Had limited space in car but I could have taken my 920 + 960 to for extra fun

I wouldn't even have an account if it weren't for the Boomboxery group on there.

I think it's the ultra rare Sanyo MX 820.

The 820 is highest on left (we got the order wrong. Ha)
Bottom left is mx310. No line in, kinda basic. think I've seen 1 branded differently, Sears or something like that
