Just restored both these beautiful Lasonics. The 931 is near mint and still has handle plastic. I did however have to replace gear for function because someone used the generic replacement kit which I didn’t like so I got the new metal gear from Ingolf plus an extra cuz you never know. Both units were cleaned and new belts and pinch rollers. Got a new motor for 931 and finally got deck fully working. Luckily I had labels already to add to the finishing touches. Not units look and sound amazing. The 920 was packed like crap of course and had damage to bottom 3 backside posts which I used jb weld and it’s very sturdy. Also has damage to the ac/dc switch so replaced it. All in all I’m very happy 😃. Thank you again Ingolf!!!

I agree 100% with that statement, one of my fondest memories is of a TRC 931 for Christmas I was in heaven when I saw that somebitch.

Seeing those big white speakers jump and holding that black monster was mind blowing and up till then was absolutely the most bad ass boombox I ever owned.
