Does the dp100 200 sound clearer than the other kabooms

Reason i ask all the other kabooms are not clear enough for me on cassette and one has popped up and im thinking of buying but dont want to be left with another kaboom i wont use thanx all opinions welcome

Whether or not it really is clearer, to my ears the DP100 is tops.

The sound is pretty much identical to the other Kabooms it's just that we have a little more control over tailoring the sound. I don't know if my 200 isn't quite right or if it's really different but the Boom on my 200 is not as strong as on my RV- NB20B.

That being said I do prefer my 200.

but not enough for you to trash/sell you 'regular' kaboom and then go pay about
US$ 300 for the 100/200 series --

however --if the scratch pads and drum pads , etc etc
are fun and useful features for you -

then ---they are worth all that.

I sold my other kaboom for £40 i diddn't like it so these sound pretty much the same then do they have that awful acs
system? to me all kabooms i have had sound dreadful on cassette

also --the 100 and 200 sound identical --

the 200 has PURPLE !!! speakers
and its 'flame stickers' are even more obnoxious!!! :'-(

Rimmer, They do not have the acs system which is a good thing. That stupid acs cuts in and out and sounds like some one is turning the treble up and down. The 100 and 200 actually have an electronic mid and treble eq control as well as bass so I think they do sound a bit better because of this, how much better is tuff to say.

i dont think ear candles and tim are a good combo.
this is something i just dont think would be conductive to a good result.
i mean sticking a lit hollow burning candle into ones ear takes a certain mindset.

TO help add clarity here.....

Clear Gin or Vodka can produce that mindset...and hey no worries, Rim, you don't light it until its in your ear.

Ed my friend my ears are fine, its my brain

But REALY the kaboom sounded fine on cd just shiat on cassette and that acs had alot to do with it but eric has clarafied the 200 dosen't have that so it's

I sold all the DP100's and 200's and only have a NB1 which I believe to sound fine on CD/Radio - have never listened to it for a long time on cassette so dunno.

they actually work good.
