Hey guys! It has been a long time, and I am not a prolific poster, but I still visit here from time to time.

Anyway, I bought Badboybill's Disco lite a few years ago (great seller :-) BTW ) ...but I hadn't done much with it. It was in excellent working condition, but it was a "stealth" model, with no gold trim, which I decided I didn't l like. So this year and I finally got around to blinging it out with some bare metal foil gold. (It's often used for scale models, it comes in chrome as well). It could be removed if desired, but I'm unlikely to ever sell it anyway.

I've recently started making some synthesizer videos, and as a beginner I am trying to make them visually interesting as well as (hopefully) decent sounding, so I incorporated my newly trimmed Disco lite into one. I may decide to upgrade the speaker bulbs to colored LEDS at some point, but I think it still looks good.

Here is the video. I will be making more, so if you guys like it let me know and I will post links for new videos if I incorporate my boxes into them. The Disco lite is receiving a signal from the mixer, but its audio is not being recorded. It's just there for looks. :afro:

Thank you! I'm glad you guys dig it.

Like I said, l'll be making more as my music and video skills improve, and I have some ideas, but what I picture in my mind ends up being not so easy for me to duplicate in reality, or on camera.

Either way, it allows me to get the boxes off the shelf and share/use them!

this.is.sick....!! what pad is that? or where are you pulling the sounds from? it sounds very early 90's hip hop and it's so simple but I'm definitely grooving in my seat. lol
