Dirty JVC, RC-M50JW

Got this from a stranger after a friend saw it and gave him my phone number.
He liked electronics,but not music.So he let me pay for it.

It's got a crooked door,missing button on top,missing battery cover,antenna mount gone.

Oh wait! Is that a nickel jammed in there?
Didnt fix the door,but I flipped the box over and there's more coins in there...or broken parts.
The functions all work,but those coins could be doing damage.

Dude,that thing is sweet! What a wonderful patina it has too.😄😄 Money inside too,its like getting an instant rebate! Plus the best part of all. Its a JVC! Ya know everybody talks about how kick ass the M90 & M70 are, and they are. However so is the little brother M50. Every time I see one on eBay or some other site they sell fast. So enjoy that sucker and congratulations! Very nice score.👍👍

Looks like coated woofs. I wonder if blue Sharpie would look good on the coating.

I painted the grills earlier.
It was a stupid idea to work sitting on the floor.It's making me impatient and sore.
I'll get her back together and order parts.

-Needs cassette door repair/replace
-Needs new tweeters
-Needs antenna mount rebuilt,or new back case
-Missing one button for a radio band
-Missing battery door
-Someones been in here before me
