I know there's different kinds and formulas for this cleaning solution. Which is the best to get rid of the "scratchy" noise, and what do you guys recommend, the spray or drop? Thanks.

Yes but you have to spray a small amount right into switch and work it back n forth about 20 times or so then let dry before testing :-)

One last question :-) I know the slider switches are easy but what about the regular round knobs Like the pannys etc? I also know that these can be removed but I don't wanna take the risk of breaking them.

You can usually find a little gap or hole on rotary controls to spray the cleaner into...needs to get to where the contacts are inside. Need to open up the box to get to these properly. Why do you want to remove them?

Most rotary controls have opening where board sticks out for solder connection. Just spray through there. Sometimes on controls everything is blocked by board and metal bracket. In this case you might be able to get to opening through another point using the straw. :-)
