Hi Boomer's can anyone advise, I have a Sharp WF-939, I not to long ago restored this as not much was working well all was perfect until some weeks ago I found tape deck 1 started to have a delay when you press play, normally it's instantaneous but started being like a couple of seconds but has gotten worse, if its left a day then it takes a good 10 seconds before it goes into play mode, hit stop and play several times it gets better until its within a second or two, but next day same again, FF & RW perfectly fine, Auto reverse and auto stop perfect, tape deck 2 no issues, both have had new belts only around 8 months ago, any ideas out there, these deck arnt electric are they?? what am I missing 😱😱😱
