Just wanted to say a MASSIVE thankyou for donating your non-working Pioneer SK550 for to make mine all better! :w00t:
Turns out I made one from two, literally, using many parts from both to build the best working model. :-)
So here she is! Thanks Pioneer for adhering your speaker grilles in and thus making them hard to remove without damage :thumbsdown:
She's lovely with speakers blacked and grilles matte blacked. Fully working and clean and classy.
Rick you're welcome to have her back for the same price :-D

Rock'n'roll, Warren! She's looking marvellous!
I love the looks of this box, and the sounds' great too, but the volumes just not
close to loud enough for my tastes. Warms my heart to see her go to good home!
.. I might get another one down the track just for taking photos of though.
I find "Never say never." is a great motto for a boombox collector!

Very Nice :-)

These beasts are really hard to work on especially the tape deck!! My SK606 scared me shitless when I took the tape deck out to repair...............it went back in - just a bit too complex for me I think - When these Pioneers work though they are beautiful machines :yes:
