Got this cheap from ebay - he guy said it buzzed/hum when turning on but after that it did not work - well not a sound or spark of life from it when i tried it - but i'm not giving up yet and will look into it - as it's a sweet little red one

If you ever figure out the problem, let me know. I have a Sharp QT that doesn't make a sound. It could have the same problem as yours.
