Hello everybody !

I am not really a collector but as I have a photography project about '80s, I bought several boombox.

I love retro item as I am retro computers and games collector, so I dislike having non functionning hardware.
I am trying to make these boombox as new as possible.

So I 've got :

Hitachi TRK-7620 / 3D7
Philips (Magnavox) D8304
Philips Roller D8008
Schneider TR 4815/19
Schneider TR 1821
Schneider TR 1850
Thomson MRK 472T

Welcome aboard, DP! That little Schneider TR-1821 is very nice - also the Thomson MRK-472T. I don't recall ever seeing that Thomson before.

The Thomson is a Sanyo rebranded Sanyo M-X320
the Schneider TR1850 exists also as Radialva TBS-2800
the Schneider TR 4815/19 exists as Philips D8454, Radiola D8454

There were so many unique design elements on each boombox. Unlike today where everything is boring.

Its interesting that photography has brought you to boomboxes, because for many of us boombox collecting has led to, perhaps not an interest in photography per-se, but certainly an appreciation of a good photo and more effort in our own work.

The antenna isn't in perfect condition but it's fully working boombox with stunning sound for it's size.
