Damn Stains!

Tried Baking Soda and a few other cleaning products to remove stain in plastic with not so much luck. Any tips,tricks, solutions to this problem?
Was also wondering if I can match color, what base of paint is safe for plastics on boomers?

Stains like that almost appear to have been caused by some sort of acidic liquid. My Panasonic RX-C100 has some on top of it too.

As for paint, I would go to a hobby shop and look in the model paint section. Tamiya has some really good silver paints.
