I got a call from my dad yesterday and he told me he found something for me at the Goodwill Outlet. It seems that dad has made a friend there who holds boomboxes for him for a day or two. Well, he went yesterday and the Goodwill guy says, "Hey! Where were you on Monday? I had five boomboxes for you. They're already gone now, but I do have another one we got in just this morning." He goes to the back and returns with a square, silver boombox and my dad immediately took it. I suggested that my dad give the Goodwill guy his phone number. 
Anyway, the boombox is a Sanyo M9978F. It's in really nice condition and is 100% complete except the tip of the antenna. It also has a few scuffs that can possibly be remedied and the tuner window needs a good polishing. I am impressed that it has separate LEFT and RIGHT volume control. It has line-out, line-in, phono, speaker-out, and mic jacks.
But most importantly... the big ass VUs at the bottom!!
