Custom speaker grilles?

Can't remember which member it was, but years ago we had a member that was making some custom laser/water cut designs for speaker grilles.

Curious if its anyone here that's still active, or if anyone here knows how to do custom cut metal like that. I'll have to remember some of the designs he did and see if I can dig up some threads.... I just remember wanting to get some made and never got around to it.

Interesting, so did they laser/water cut all the little holes? How did they shape the sheet into the shape of a grille afterwards?
I remember a certain former member here cut out some bolts for behind the grilles, but I don't think that's what you're referring to.

Yeah, I found the post. It was David. DER. Look like he had a buddy that did it. Made a pretty cool "Prince" emblem for Cruisins JVC 550.
