The sun made an appearance today, so I figured it was time to take some pics outside! All I have is trees around me, so I threw the Blasters in the backseat of my 75' Chevy and hit the town.. :-D
Also, this is the first photoshoot with my new C-126 that I just got from the homie Driptip yesterday...
I was surprised the C-126 seems to be crisper and clearer than my TC-999 even though it doesn't have the tiny tweeters..
I love these big square beasts! :-D

I was gonna start a topic, but I'll just throw it in here.. Built a Ghettoblaster Shrine last weekend that I'm really proud of!
My buddy was cleaning up his shop and asked if I wanted his old shelf, I said "sure!" Took me about 2 seconds to decide what I was gonna use it for! :-D
It had thin metal rods that held up the flimsy & bent sheetmetal shelves, so that wasn't gonna cut it..
Also, my boxes are a lil bit longer than those shelves.. so time to do some cutting!

Cut out the gridwork on the sides and welded in some 3/4" angle iron.. Took very critical measurements to make sure all my Ghettoblasters would fit!

Picked up a half sheet of 1/2" Aspen? wood and cut the 14"x29" shelves, hit em with a couple coats of poly for a smooth finish..

Sanded & primed the cage and sprayed it with some House of Kolor Snowwhite Pearl I had on the shelf..and cleared of course

I had drilled holes in each corner of the angle iron so the shelves could be screwed down, tying the whole shelving system together! The tabs on the top crossbar I welded on so I could bolt my car club plaque to display..

My Ghettoblaster Shrine! That I admire every night and every morning.. :-D With the angle iron and wood, I probably have $36 into it, but the 2 days I built it with no problems whatsoever is priceless! I still need to put a 6-socket surge protector on the backside of the 3rd shelf to plug them all into..
