Crown sz 5100 and Lasonic L30k

Big thanks to Max for helping me with the Crown and big thanks to Rado (member Bondar) for finding me this Lasonic. Both boomers 100% complete and workin . The crown was somehow a risky buy , but happy turned to be really good. I even removed some protective plastic still left on the front . So happy with them. Now i need others "931 wannabe" - Intersound and please give me a tips for others AKA's . Of course must find lot more original 931's (have just one so far). Have Unisef and Crown too now .

Man these black chromed-out boxes really get my juices flowing , need to get me a Corwn/Unizef one ASAP!

How do the Lasonic copies compare in sound quality to the original? Have heard they're not very impressive. Got a Watson RR 5600 myself but it sounds alright, what about the Unizef and Crown ones?

Some people dont like the sound of them - but i disagree. Its far from the 931 sound , but still descent. Crown have slightly better sound from unisef. And both sounds better of Watson .
Anyway i love the look of them and enjoying em Actually now removed almost all other boomers from the wall and hope soon to finish my blackledwall

Maybe the SZ-5000 do not have a good sound, because don´t have tweeters (have some like "coins" in place of tweeters and maybe not a good Amp too.

I found mine in a dumpster in the streets around my work, in very bad shape, but customizable yet... ...it was I do!!!

Still need to discover how I make the Led meters working with the am I use for my mod.

Tony, try to capture your pictures with Flash disabled, the black and chrome boxes looks better in pictures without flash

I will try that. Thanks. Actually my hands are really not stable too . Some day soon when my DL arrive will take some better pictures with tripod and no flash and will try to catch some daylight.
