Norm was cool enough to trade me this mega-rare businessman's boomer. Imagine yourself steady mobbin' to the airport or train station, flossin' this pimp-ass attaché case alongside your Armani suit. Enjoying your music in secret, via the discreet headphone port. Enjoy! LINK

Ooh, so sweet.   When I read the thread title I imagined we'd be seeing something similar to the Sanyo or National Panasonic attaché case boxes with the built-in turntable but this is so much cooler and more discrete.

Boy how many movies could be made showing some Wall Street moron trying to cash in on the craze without hurting his rep by having one of these.

But no worries...take it through a US airport one time and the TSA will make sure that it no longer exists.

Possibly the only one in the USA, I imagine, certainly not many more than that, and the condition..... Probably the best example. Take good care of it Reli.

I was once scrutinized by TSA for bringing a harmonica on the plane. I can't imagine what they'd do to this thing. :police:
So very cool.

Only problem I see with that is, what would he do with the front cover? Leave it in the office?

Yeah! Great to see one of these up close and personal finally.

I love the design, but those speaker grills are arse ugly. Makes it look like
something from the 40s.

The rest of it though is thoroughly spectacular.

Rock On.

Here in Brazil, a store of vintage electronics have one, but without a front cover (that makes the radio looks like a suitcase)... ...Expensive A LOT down here.

As Rick said, the font woofer grills are quite ugly (remembers a church windows), but it's a serious one for very collectors.

Cheers.

Agreed, but Japanese businessmen are pretty conservative.....Can't be carrying around something flashy with a bunch of shiny chrome around the speakers, lol
