Crown CSC 950

I was wondering if anyone has more details on the power output of Crown CSC 950.

How does it compare to other models in its class and other boomboxes?

very beautiful design --just good sound but NBD

save a little more $$ to wait for a crown 850 which does have excellent bass and power

I also agree the sound is real nice on 950 but more bass from 850. Still I love them both

i agree with ira,had the 950 and wasnt over impressed with the sound,the 850 ive heard great stuff about-try and get one of those!!!!

I've had both, currently have two 950's. The 850 does have more bass and is a little louder. One of my 950's sounds better than my other one, maybe the caps are in better shape - it is comparable to my M-70 in clarity but not quite as powerful. One of my favorite boxes. They require an line level adapter as they only have a phono input.
