I got this box from our good brother Claret Badger a couple of years back (so I hope he see's this).
It was in pretty rough physical condition but it still pounded pretty hard so I was well happy with it. However I always thought it needed something so I mulled it over for a long while till the right idea came to mind.
I cant say to much without giving the end result away so today heres some before pictures.

Ive got a couple more pre-paint pics that i'll post later but now its dinner time.

The only thing I didn't remove were the deck keys, as I couldn't get them off. I was really unsure about pulling all the guts out but it wasn't so bad, if I had to do it again tomorrow it would only take me about 1/4 of the time.

Im actually waiting on one "item" from the bay to complete this project, till I get this I cant do the final photos, hopefully tomorrow.

Hmm, it'll need to be very bright and shiny to stand out from the crowd like it deserves to do. I'm hoping that it'll be mid blue with the grilles and the interior of the cassette compartment picked out in the brightest, most "glow in the dark" shade of pink known to humankind. Then a decent array of LEDs should surely appear in there somehow, to flash in time with the tunes. Nah, that's been done, I know: Lasers attached to small eccentric motors such as the ones that make phones vibrate, that way you could make a light show in the sky. Anything less will be disappointing. ;-)

Ah go on. Go on, go on, go on. :-D
