Don't believe everything you see. Just look at the bid history, and you'll see all these low feedback bidders.... looks a bit suspicious to me.

Yeah your right Norm, I can be a bit gullible at times lol :-D after having another look I gotta say I agree with you :yes: That's close to m90 money, them 8290's are a £100 box tops.

That one looks very clean and I'm assuming it's someone's childhood personal grail maybe?
If it gets re listed then you know it's a 'smelly' one however.

Wonder if it really sold? Will it ever actually ship? :huh: $685.85, for cryin' out loud. A nice boomer, yes. But for that price? :blink: I guess it will be re-listed again soon? I've only been using eBay sparingly for my eight years on it, and there's things I see that I still just don't understand. :blush:

There's no denying the beautiful condition of that Hitachi. There is also no denying how truly ordinary those one piece Hitachi's sound. But bling does seem to win out over performance with many collectors so maybe it is worth all that money?! :-)

I saw this at the just over £100 mark and thought, "woah that is too much money for that", so that price just has to be bogus. These sell very week for under £100. Even in that condition it is not worth anywhere near that price. Im calling shenanigans.

If it is a real buyer they must be kicking themselves about now. on the same page under " more chances to get what you want" is another one for 125. item 281684648929. 26 watchers for that bin but no ones buying.

only tire kickers for 125, but bidders everywhere for 400+ ? I agree it must be a scam.

the hitachi in our post here is definately not worth what it sold for.....i once bought a fully working one with deck sticker and in mint condition for 70 pounds and i thought id been robbed :w00t:
