Hi all, I've been restoring my Sharp GF-8585X, which I consider to be a beater box up close, due to its scratches and dings, badly pitted chrome and missing battery cover.

I've got the tape deck working perfectly, and gave it a cleanup. I've fitted a pair of non-standard twin antennas as both were broken. I've got a set of crash bars from another box that I scrapped, and I'm considering fitting them to this! It has moulded holes in the case which line up almost perfectly, I should be able to fit the bars to these.

Before and after pics. Which do you you prefer??
