Cranking Up My Original JVC PC-55JW!!

Hi everyone-I had to crank-up my original JVC 55JW last night with a TDK SA-90 tape that I recorded back in late 1985'.
I was cranking up Central Line's "Walking Into Sunshine" Long Version!!
Now this thing is so wicked-Yes I cranked it up to 7!! Yes my ears started to hurt-especially with the high notes in this song(Freddie probably know this one!)It hurt in a good way though-so clear.
This really is my baby with original sticker all papers & original bill of sale to!!
The sound is so amazing-even the digital readout is still pretty good-working 95% or so.
I remember looking at the display for hours & never got tired of it!
I also have a mint JVC PC-55C!
These are so amazing-love the clarity & the super tight bass that come out of these & at 27.5 watts per channel it's one of the most powerful made!!

Bring it and all associated papers to the meet...Tony needs to be shamed into how such equipment should (or should have been in his case ) treated!

And yes, I'm very familiar with Central Line's "Walking Into Sunshine"! Try some Dayton "The Sound of Music"!

The pc55 is also 1 of my faves, its the box i had dreamt litraaly in dreams of owning for so many years and i had the brosire back in 83 i spent many hours looking at the picks of the 55 and also reading the discriptions over and over.

Its one of the best built boxes out there with so many features and it is pretty loud to boot, im glad i have 5 and another wouldnt go a miss.

Hi Freddie & Tim-Thanks for your replies!
Freddie I hope I can go to the meet! It's still up in the air-I'd have to drive myself & things are tight financially.
If I do go I'm hesitant to bring it because it means more to me than any other box-Period!!
You know what I mean.Like if anything was to happen-I'd cry!
BUT I will bring 5-7 great ones!
I'll check out that song to-thanks.
