My latest purchases (both ebay)
Sharp GF-9494 (£25): Condition isn't great, the radio works but the tape doesn't. I'm guessing new belts. The whole thing is a bit dirty and the aerials need replacing, but I think it could clean up ok. Sounds good at low volumes if loudness is on and the bass and treble are cranked a bit, any louder than 3 or 4 requires me to turn the aforementioned off though or else I get distortion, so the result is loud but very harsh on the mids. I wouldn't mind upgrading the speakers at some point for a better sound but won't have the time for a while...
JVC RC-656LB (£30): This box is in great condition, almost minty bar a few small scratches and the missing JVC badge from the lower front. Fully working and quite a nice sounding smaller box. The dirt you can see in the pictures has since been cleaned off and it is looking nice and shiny
