Hey everyone,

I am only new to this site but can see there's some pretty great stuff on here!

I recently acquired a Conion C100F and a Sharp GF777, and took some vids of each of them that I thought I might share - those that like the Electro sounds might enjoy the tunes playing.

The links are here, and a photo is below of them stacked (unfortunately photos not quite to the standard of other excellent shots on this site, but the video's area very clean and great sound).

Thanks to all for the warm welcome, glad you liked those babies :-)

I think to complete the collection of the monsters surely I'll need a JVC M90 and maybe a Superjumbo J1 also :-)

Cheers

Welcome Fanatik1, and thanks for sharing those videos.

NOW, to really earn that screen name, we need you to collect 20 or 30 more. Maybe 50 more. OK, don't stop there, get 100 more. :-D

Thanks Superduper - he he thats a big call to step up into the big league - actually its somewhat difficult to obtain decent boxes in Australia as there just isn't the volume of them around here, and most US ebay sellers don't ship to Australia.

The Conion I got was the first one that came up on ebay in Australia in 3 years!!!

So just to get a JVC M90 and Superjumbo will take me some time in itself :-)

So I'll slowly build up the Fanatik reputation :-)

Cheers

I understand. I have seen some boomboxes sell to AU for outrageously obscene prices, no doubt due to the fact that they are difficult to procure, especially the big ones due to shipping size restrictions and cost. Good luck!

Indeed I might need some help from some like minded people in the US to help me get some stuff shipped from there in future - see how we go !

Welcome aboard Fanatik1! Great to see another collector in Australia!
Classic radios you've got there, especially the C-100, not many of those ever made it down here,
I certainly treasure mine. And the 777 is one of the true legends of boomboxery.

Good luck expanding the collection!

Rock On.
