It looks and plays well with others

Her only issue is TAPE1 (anybody have parts?)

Both antennas intact,battery cover in place. Usual suspect of scuffs and marks but complete. In 2 months I've found my personal grails.
Thanks to Lopez for the first 2 and thanks to the geeky guy I met on eBay who didn't know what he had and gave me the radio for pennies compared to what other people have paid for theres.

The conion c100 is a great looking box and sounds like a rock concert its one of my favorite boombox your a lucky person getting one for some pennies

Awesome Conion.
I've often wondered though.
Almost every picture I see of one is missing the tape door.
And I've seen quite a few pictures, any ideas on why?
I would love to see one of these in person some day.

Conion is for sure on everyones short list Awsome find One just went for $408 shipped last night but it did need a few things I am just waiting for the day a conion or m90 will just fall into my lap in pristine condition

This happened to me exactly within 3 days of each other. It can happen and its amazing. I never thought is have the opportunity to own either, let alone both, with the prices they go for on ebay. Wild is the only way to go, too many problems on the bay.

Thanks OSO. I don't know why and have wondered the same thing about these cassette doors. I guess cause it's frequently used. At least TAPE 2 works.

The door is there it's just the glass that's missing. Sheesh I only paid $300 for her!! :annoyed: $250 for a whole door?

the c100 are a great loud box little by little you can fix her up and it will look good as new ,, yours has the bottom drawer which on some is gone and you are only missing the plastic glass to the tape deck door and not the whole door which would work out if you can find the plastic piece to cover it

I only paid $300 and I picked it up in Manhattan NY from a cool nerdy looking guy. He was cool tho. he said he would call me cause he goes to estate sales and thrift shops. He would call me if he saw anything good.

I can't get the drawer lock in place but I'm glad it's in there. The tape deck is shot, I opened it up already and some of the belts fell right out. The motor was running when I loaded her up with power. I unstuck the motor and it stopped now. For $300 I think I still came out on top!!

Never heard that 5350 in person yet. Lopez says they sound hot. Might have to add it to my list?

boogie --the glass is so cheap -- home depot carries it -
in either plexi or lexan --

thats the easy part --
but it needs an 80 tooth blade to cut it clean -
without chipping the edges --i dont have that blade-

buy any local plastics supplier - near you
will have it --
and most of them will make the 2 cuts for you-
in a minute -and for short $$
