Hey Guys,

I am toying with the idea of buying a Conion C-100F, it is mint condition, no scratches etc, ( I checked it out in person)
both tape decks work flawless, literally perfect.... I am amazed.

Yes it is expensive $ 1900 But I have the cash.... so....

it is a japan model, it really is perfect in every way

I would like some input, This is a keeper if I buy it, Do you guys think this is too far out of line for one ?

all input is accepted and appreciated,

-Sam D,

Mint condition with everything there and working is always an A+ in my book!
Someone bought mine that wasnt mint but complete with non-working decks for about $1300 a few years ago..
It's all up to what you are comfortable with..;-)

My 2 cents would be this. If if you plan to use it and plan to take it places, I would recommend a 100% functional box with a few minor blemishes for much less money however, If your plans are to keep it on display at home so as not to damage it and exercise it once a month or so to keep the belts pliable I would get the mint box if you and the seller are comfortable on the price.

So basically it comes down to what you want the box for and what type of collector you are as to whether you should go for a mint box, or a good working survivor.

This is my opinion:-)

It does look minty...wondering (since you have cash) if you threw down 1600 if the seller would jump on it :-)

One day I hope to be lucky enough to see a mint model. My two models represent well but are far from perfect.

There's a guy near me wants 1500 for one that's nowhere near as nice as that. I mean it's your money man, I'd say go for it if it makes you happy.

That sounds like you want the conion more you more than you want the $1,900 dollars lol.
To me that's the sign when the money is secondary lol.

C100's are lovely in their own right. If you need a shelf queen, spend the cash. If you travel with your blasters and share them with the world, wait around for a B grade blaster that can handle some battle scars.

Personally, I like them with some scratches and dings. Makes it easier for me to not worry about getting another one because I take mine out in the wild.

I guess I'll be the contrarian and say I think the price is kind of high. I have two and well neither of them are mint, I paid substantially less than that for either one. I guess if you want one immediately and price is not an object go for it but I will also say if you alright waiting a little longer, you'll probably find one cheaper.
