Cleaning Corroded & rusty battery terminals.

I've got some nasty ones on a old Sony. :sad:
A some point in its life , batteries have been left inside :nonono: Anyway theres some nice vintage battery acid & rust all over the terminals.
Any tips on cleaning them up :-) Or should I just try & replace them :hmmm: :hmmm:
