In my Office today and listening to the M90. Popped in a tape I made and figured I would record the machine in action with my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. To my surprise (while not as good as in person) it records video in stereo and relatively clear!

Through headphones it's quite nice and in person it Knocks your Socks Off!!

This link is through my Dropbox account. If you are not a member just click "No Thanks...continue to view" option at the bottom of the Registration Sign in window. You may download or stream the video (whichever you prefer) but keep in mind, due to the nature of HD videos the file size is fairly large (almost 1 gig) so keep that in mind if you are on a metered connection.

Below is the link to view or download and if you have a video displaying your boxes HQ sound let's see it :-)

What an excellent way to go for sharing videos. I never really gave Dropbox a thought (I back up religiously), but I'll check it out in depth when I get home from work. I stopped posting to YouTube a couple of years ago because of 1.) intentional quality degradation and 2.) the heavy-handed copyright Gestapo. Even if I use my own music (that I wrote and recorded), YouTube still scrutinizes my videos for 24 hours before they allow them to post. And then, when it finally does post, the video looks like I shot it with a flip phone from 2005.

But that's enough of my YouTube rant. Very nice demo of the M-90!

Hmm, I've never had any of those issues with YouTube. They allow 4K videos, and the quality seems similar to my original uploads as long as I set the player on the original resolution. And there's no delay at all before people can watch my videos, even if I use a copyrighted song.

Wow! Crystal clear sound! Gonna go home and play my M90 right now!
Fell in Love with it again today. In that video clip above I used a Type II CrO2 and it sounded good. Yesterday I decided to open one of my Metal Type IV tapes I was saving for a special occassion. I biased my JVC on my main Home Amp using the Computer Calibration it has. I then set the VU to not exceed +3db only blipping into the +4 on occassion and recorded some (I know it's a little early for this but) Christmas Music from CD. I did not use any Dolby during my Recording but when playing back in the M90 I use the Super ANRS with the Bias switch on Metal and.....well.....it was breathtaking :jawdrop: Even I had forgotten just how clear a tape could sound. I purchased this M90 from member JT almost a year ago and today it has produced the best and clearest sound since I've owned it. The tweeters and over all sound is so crisp....I just can't stop listening. I've just been standing in front of it in awe for the last hour. My wife actually thought I might be depressed. She confronted me and wondered if I was going to just stand in the living room facing the stereo (in the corner of the room) all day.

I'll end by saying if it were possible for your ears to have an hour long orgasm, they would be with an M90 with this 60 minute Type IV tape I made. Holy cow.

Can't wait until Christmas time. This tape and my M90 are going to my Parents house and in-laws this year. If no one comments on the clarity of the sound, I'll except their ignorance of what good sound is and make a permanent mental log of it.. :-P

I honestly haven't uploaded a video to YouTube in at least two years, so policies have probably changed. I uploaded a gratuitous video of a few decks I revived, ignorantly using copyrighted music, and received a stern warning from YouTube. They allowed the video to post, initially with no audio, but then later added the audio. Just kinda left a bad taste in my mouth.

My apologies for steering the thread a bit "off-topic."
