Claims to have no tape for testing!!

I know alot of us discussed how the ebay tricks with decks not really working and the sellers claiming to have no tape to test deck...Well I found this one for sale stating just that..but look there is a tape in the pictures of deck 1 :lol: :lol: I can not post the item as its not a buy it now but an actual auction.... so here is some pics :-O :thumbsup: :w00t:

Emailed and working out a deal for that boombox already too, hahaha - yeah, no tape. I don't think so! :nonono:

I hate to go off topic but does this box look like a big advertisement
billboard to anyone else???
I dont mean to offend to anyone interested in this particular box,
but the MUSIC MIXER and100W PMPO painted on the speaker grill is a little over the top for me.

Could only test the left deck, in the right one is no tape... :dunce: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Maybe the tape was born it the box?!? :-P

Yeah, the music mixer box is a bit gaudy and cheap looking but I want it for the size. That's all. I heard they sound OK :-/

The 'over the top' look just screems 80's to me, when all
fasions and styles where over the top and trying to outdo
the latest craze :yes:

Shame they cant just find one tape anywhere ??? :lol:

I was going to ask that same question! I JUST got burned on a deal like that about two weeks ago - never again, if I can help it. If the listing does not explicitly state in simple terms that the tape deck works, then it's not the box for me! :thumbsdown:

Right on Norm, any function they don't clearly state as functioning should be assumed to not work until you can get the seller to test and verify it as working. Even then if it's not noted in the auction or at least an email through the eBay system you may have trouble proving the seller lied or misrepresented the box to you.
