Wait, a smooth chrome finish using a BRUSH? Seems like a spray would be better.

Some of the types come in a spray can. But yes $50 seems expensive

But if only doing small things, wouldn't a brush be more economical.

Hello,

I use MOLOTOWâ„¢ Product - LIQUID CHROME

I've used silver markers as well but found the result is not strong/durable enough. These MOLOTOW markers seem to do a good trick but I found a video showing some result, and I'm not impressed anymore.... results are shiny but dull....dimm, can't find the correct word.... in any way not "mirror" like enough.

Found this video that shows the result of a spraycan cap being chromed: https://youtu.be/mqZgAy6kRG0

This looks very interesting!

Aerosol spray type chrome was a disaster!
I visited a major aerosol paint company and they even admitted it won't work well.

I had a look at doing this once.
Found this comparison video.

I’ve not tried it but also looks to be most effective sprayed on top of a gloss black.
That’s looks consistent with Van Presence video as well.

I used this method on my AIWA Exos 9's speaker trim rings. It did come out smooth, and pretty nice, but does'nt look like a "mirror" finish.
