Chrome Mylar Speaker dust covers

Where can I find these? having a hard time finding them online in this day and age. Its hard or impossible to find even a new speaker with the chrome insert. Anybody have ideas?

Normally you have to take off the dust caps from other speakers imho

In the meantime, I found these online for the newly acquired Magnavox D8443. I think if it works out, they will look really nice. If it sounds like poo poo, the only recourse is to amp it up. The radio is due in on Saturday. Getting some goodies gathered.

im not sure they will fit but who knows as the phillips has 50p shaped speakers as far as i know, the only other issue you may have is the speakers may be far to difficult to drive by such a weedy boombox, if they are 4 ohm or less you are in with a chance, good luck

Thanks Rimmer. They are 4 ohm and 1.7" deep or 4.32cm. It's a gamble either way. If it doesn't work in this box, it will work in some future box. Thats the way I roll

I would still prefer the standard el cheapo black paper cone speakers with the chrome center cap. I don't want to spend so much on this. The main point of this box is for Marie to have something for the future meet and to be a good looker. The radio I mean...

Found them on accident at Amazon. They seem to be sold by one reseller in NY. Made by Oxygen Audio Spiral. When I looked them up online, they are from Europe. Not much info on these. I ended up getting the last set. Might be junk, might be good. I don't know... They were $41 shipped. Speakers were $24.99

Lol! I have around half a dozen brand new Jbl speakers of various sizes! Some from failed projects, others awaiting trial!! Lol - I think the only way I'd roll is down a steep hill 😀 I'm a bit of a fatty now 😀
