Next week I will have a full house of guests staying the week to party through the New Year.
Of course I must provide musical entertainment for said party and there is no better way to ring in a week long party and the New Year than with not just one, but THREE classic Boomboxes.
Many of you have seen me wire together boomboxes for parties in the past, but I am very proud of this Blaster Rig.
First we start out with a healthy music mix on my laptop, wired to my Sharp GF-777z in the living room.
From there a 20 foot wire run's to the kitchen to my Realistic SCR-8. (and to answer the question, Is my kitchen that YELLOW?, no it's not, just the camera I used),
Next an inferred wireless unit sends the signal across the living room from the 777z to the top of the TV where a Lasonic TRC-975 receives the signal.
The volume of all the radio's is controlled at the computer by an inferred remote control so I can skip tracks or adjust the volume from afar.
These three radio's provide AMPLE volume to Blast the party as I tested it last night with a few friends over.
And since I may need to speak to some people in private my bedroom has been out fitted with it's own POWERHOUSE stack of radios featuring the Lasonic TRC-935, Lasonic TRC-918, JVC/Victor RC-838 and Lasonic TRC-920.
This should provide the "Blaster Illiterate" a good Learnin'
I'm happy with this set up and it should help ring in the new year as well as ring everyone's EARS!
SO.....I must ask, is anyone else setting up a Multi-Blaster Rig for they're parties this season? If so, do tell.
