Chicago broadcast museum boombox display

Hello All! Yes, this is the lame dude from Chicago that only stops by once in awhile |-) |-)

I just checked out the Sunshine Mix pix from 2012 and it looked like a great time was had in Naples! I am hungry just looking at that grill.

Many months ago, I promised a boombox collector friend in Chicago that I would post these pix, and now I am finally getting round to it. Right after Don Cornelius died, there was a ceremony at the broadcast museum, and Boombox Brian asked if they would like a boombox display for the ceremony. They accepted his offer as a loan, and the boxes are still there. Here is a pix from the main lobby, and I understand the boxes have been moved to another room upstairs.

So, I am finally removing any bad karma from not posting these!! If you are ever in Chicago, this small museum is just north of the House of Blues.

Hey Bobby and Ira!
Yeah, I need to stop by a little more often. As I am happy with my collection for now, I have been focused elsewhere, I have been entertaining volleyball friends at different events this summer with a M90 and sometimes with a Conion.

As this Brian dude is not an internet type guy, I want to post one more shot for him. His apartment is literarily full of boomboxes, and his wife has been pulled into the fever. This picture includes one of his "finds" a good looking Rexcel.
