As mentioned before in my first post i was interested in a Sanyo M4500, but the owner had not called me. a few days ago called me and we agreed to buy it.Is a Sanyo m4500K
I arrive in a box that just look scary, but luckily this in one piece.the radio works, all band, the phono input also works well, the cassette dont work.
I have it dismantled for cleaning and saw that the belts slip. so that by the time I entertain with cleaning.

I've got one of these and they are really nice boxes, I think Sanyo did a top job on this one, and the VU's are clearly awesome . . .

Taken mine out a few times to car shows and camping trips because it's a nice slim portable size, but I find that the inputs don't cope too well with my Ipod attached, but it's not got a proper line-in setup I don't think, just phono-in? All round good sound though for what it is.

My M4500 is sat on top of my HIfi in the Living room sandwiched in between some retro globe speakers, it looks cool man, I might post a pic of it.

I've always liked the look and design of that box, and the champagne color makes that box stand out from all the silver and black boxes out there...

thanks for the comments at the moment is disarmed, cleaning, belts waiting to build and hope that everything works and enjoy it.'s vu for some are bigger than the speakers!!

Yesterday I walked around for a feamarket and to my surprise I found another M4500k, i but it 3 euros, is in very poor condition is only for parts.
but it is a more complete version than mine is at the front memories for radio stations, but is wrong because it only has a preset, RNE 1(National Radio fo Spain),,,anyone knows any trick to fix it??
now waiting for the belts and I hope to put together the puzzle

Maybe you can make a tapedoor from another box fitting?
Try the same on a broken LUXOR this time.

Or custom job with maybe mp3 connection...

After spending the afternoon trying to solve the problem of the deck, it was time assembling process and here is the result.
