Took me about a month to fix and build this car, and only took about 24hrs to sell it for full price! Hahaha, that never happens. I made a lot of profit on this one. This is my other hobby.

Did all the work myself. New motor, trans, clutch, interior, powder coating, painting, etc...

Price $6,300 O.B.O.

1999 SVT Contour
82,448 miles +
39k mile 2004 Ford Taurus Port-matched 3L
Quiafe LSD
New SVT clutch kit
Comes with one key and one keyless entry fob
With this sale I will be including a certificate for a free caliper powder coating job. Buyer just has to pay shipping both ways for the calipers. ($200 value)

Nice add ons:
-B&M short shifter with painted t-red center
-Borla stainless cat back exhaust (3.5" tips I think)

Wow. No wonder it sold for full price. Looks like quality work.

Wanna work on my Vette next? Want to get it restored but far too lazy to start.

Thanks for the compliments guys, it makes me feel goooooood.

Mondeo is the sister car in your country, but they stopped making the Ford Contour/Mystique in the USA over 10 years ago. I think you guys still get the mondeo. I have owned about 10 Ford Contours, 7 of those were SVTs.

210 HP
200 Ft/lb TQ

Numbers are from a dyno and are true ratings at the wheels, not the crank.

The LSD is an aftermarket upgrade for the transmission. You can get a Torsen T2 LSD or a Quaife LSD and they usually run about $700 just for that, but you can't break them.

Check is in the mail, but to all those who wanted to see the final pics - here they are:

Car sold about 24hrs after I listed it! :-D :'-(

Not happy to see it go, but I don't need another car  :-O :breakdance:  . Here it is in it's last photoshoot. I drove it to the new owner's home about 8hrs away (one way).

I bet you could disassemble that car in your sleep! Nice work.

I was the same way with DSM's with the 4g63 turbo motors. Eagle Talons and Mitsubishi eclipse.
It is so easy to make them fast as hell with well over 300hp to the wheels.

that svt contour is a sweet ride. really like how it turned out. always had a soft spot for those cars for some reason. they seem to be going for next to nothing up here its a wierd time for used cars up in vancouver. certain cars that go for big bucks state side go so cheap up here and vice versa.
cool stuff man great ride.
