uhhhhh......
to be honest i think that they are so completely out of touch with anything to do with culture that the writer of that list should be shot and put out of our misery.
i mean there is at least ten maybe fifteen things on this list that would be considered ultra hip by the scene kids.
hmmm i kind of think that mag has a readers audience made up of perhaps the people i would be unlikely to want to hang out with.
hahah.
seventeen is a good one too.
i hate lists like this i hate the people who write them.
more importantly i think that people who use these lists as a cultural compass are sheep in suits.

its a tiny rectangular or square hunk of stuff. i mean sure being able to carry mass ammounts of songs movies ect in the palm of your hand is pretty neat.
the ipod tho just does not look cool.
i mean how in the hell did apple convince people a microlith you carry around looks cool.

This one really depends on your point of view, any of us can make up a list.
In fact my number one is A-Holes who think they know everything and trash something I enjoy like there's something wrong with it. It's just an opinion but you know what they say about opinions right? Opinions are like A-holes, everybody has one.

A friend explained to me when I asked her why people like minimal designs.
She said "some people like products that don't look like anything out of the ordinary, i.e. cars, ipod docks, because it helps them to pretend they're in the future."
A minimal design is what it is to each his own.

I think the 'target demographic' for that site would've found that list very entertaining.
I don't think many/any of us are really in that target demographic however.
The writer was obviously running on empty though.. having cassettes in there twice was a sure
sign he was struggling to make up the numbers.
I am with him 100%, however, on mourning the loss of punctuation/grammar/etc on a daily basis.
