what boxes have fallen to your desire to push it just one last time.
sure everything can be fixed but whats gone kaput over the years of collecting.

for me disco robo speaker foams blown
pc3 same deal bye bye woofer foam. this era of jvc seems to all be at the point now the foam is kaput on most of them

i still gotta get it together at somepoint and fix those two boxes but i have so many projects on the go.

what have you blown up over the years.

its hard to resist turning them up loud.
almost all of the ones i have got have been good a few have shown there strings.
i must admit there is a certain sinking feeling as a woofer flails about in the metal basket with no foam around it.

My original Panny 680 has one channel lower and one tape drive not functioning and the Telefunken HP 800 power button not working so to turn it on I must use the Timer button which works but only for 90 min. or so. I can adjust the time but haven't got to that yet.

Time for the Tech soon!!

Pleased to say I haven't been responsible for any damage, haven't had any 'whoops' moments that I recall.

However the tape deck on my Pioneer SK-757 is inexplicably chewing up tapes now, so an issue to be addressed. :-/
