Well, my point was that box is only 22" wide and it doesn't really have a lot of features on it. It does have the analogue vu meters, which is inviting to me, but not much else.
Even knowing those speakers aren't much bigger than the tape deck door they probably have a good sound. The Candle, with it's good pics, good presentation and obivious good condition still should be about $150 for what you're getting.
The Chinese sellers on the other hand, they are real boxes, but you have to do your homework. Nobody wants to pay big bucks for a heavy hitter box then pay another heavy hitter price for shipping. It would be like paying for two gf 777's. Then when you find out it wasn't as described because the speakers rattle, the tape decks don't work or a channel is blown you'll be right back where you started.
I would check their feedback ratings. Make sure you ask questions regarding their description & what's pictured. Ask for a serial number. Make sure that box is good and all of the features on it work so you know what you're getting. One more thing, the shipping could take up to 30 + days. and you may only be refunded just the auction amount, not return shipping in most cases. So buying from China has risks, do your homework to save your ars
The alternative- patience- Once in a while you'll find a U.S. gf 777 auction - in good condition at a fair price.
