Can you help me identify this boombox?

So my buddy from work was looking through an old photo album and found this picture of when he was a kid opening up presents at Christmas. Can anybody give me a lead on what box this is? Thanks!

Yeah I had one of those..could've replaced the Toshiba logo with a Fisher Price stamp and nobody would notice the difference..

Radio and tape only. It's the most basicist of the basic. I think theres only 4 screws that hold the box together..

Thanks James. I think my buddy's wife wants to get one for him. He just turned 40. I think she should give it to him for Christmas because that's when he originally got it so many years ago. There's one on eBay right now but they want $127. I think that's kinda high for a basic radio but then again there is a personal connection to this one.

i have one in pretty decent shape . the tip of the antenna is missing but aside from that looks great . willing to sell it too,.

i found it just have to test it .

ok here it is . fully tested and working on all functions. no static in the controls . all tape deck functions working , tuner working and all led indicators functioning normally. tested on ac and dc power.
con's tip of the antenna missing , light wear marks throughout .no deep scratches but average usage wear from 30 years of service. don't expect it to look 100% but is very passable not really much wear for a radio this old . needs to be cleaned up. sounds good for such a small basic boombox.

After seeing the post about "Original Pictures" that bklyn sound posted today, it reminded me that I never posted the end result of this post. So thanks to JVC Floyd, I was able to get the boombox that my friend originally got as a kid. I made the deal with Floyd back in April and I held on to it until I finally gave it to him this past Christmas. Here is the end result!
