Hi,
I'm having some nostalgia at the moment, and I'm trying to find the boombox I had at college. I don't have much to go on, but it was quite unusual, and I reckon you lot are my best chance.
Here's what I remember:
Any ideas?
I'm having some nostalgia at the moment, and I'm trying to find the boombox I had at college. I don't have much to go on, but it was quite unusual, and I reckon you lot are my best chance.
Here's what I remember:
- Bought at an independent shop in Bedford UK in 1990 for when I went to college (showing my age there)
- Not sure about manufacturer, but pretty sure it wasn't any of the usual ones: Sony, Panasonic etc. But I could be wrong!
- Twin cassette
- Analogue radio (not digital tuner)
- No CD
- No remote
- Not black, but a dark brownish grey, with a matte, almost rough finish
- Most distinctively, it came with 2 extra satellite speakers that connected with 3.5mm jacks and could be hung on the wall for "surround sound"
- Quite big - I guess 20cm high, 60cm wide, 20cm deep?
Any ideas?
