Can anyone tell me what year the Aiwa CSD-ES977 was released?

I'm dying to know what year this radio is from. I assume it's 90s, but it may be 2000s. Pictures attached. TIA to anyone who can confirm! Aiwa CSD-ES977

It not in the Service Manual so I would guess late 90's. You could confirm by looking inside the plastic moulding should be date stamped.

Probably between mid-1999 and mid-2000. The CSD-ES series debuted in their 1998-1999 catalog with the 225, 255 and 375, but were not in their 2000-2001 catalog. I'm betting that the 577, 777 and 977 were in the 1999-2000 catalog.

Thanks! Based on the logo alone, I’ve been able to confirm between 1991 and 2003. I’m guessing the 1999-2000 catalog is nowhere to be found?

Ultimately you'll find it probably says 1999 inside, so yes, it's a '90s box.
