can a 3.5mm stereo panel mount be connected

Curious. I was thinking of doing all of my radios with a 3.5mm port. Could I just tap into the line in rca/aux and drill in a port assembly for the 3.5mm Stereo Panel Mount?

Can I just do a jumper inside the box from line in? Or will that create feedback?
I figure to ask if anyone has tried, before I try.

You want use 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm cable to connect portable devices,

but you need open all boomboxes to instal this jack....


I think , must be easy if you use 3.5 mm to RCA cable:

If you connect only one device to line in jacks, no problem with feedback.
