Are those Lasonics? I think the consensus was that the C-100 amp can't handle the ohms..?
But, they do look good!

Install new 8" foam surrounds on the speakers. You can ship them off to places to be fixed too if you don't want to try it.

Refoaming a rippled edge paper woofer has been around for 30+ years. Google or youtube, you will find the answer. ;-)

White ones are matching with box overall color, but black/grey ones aren´t too bad either. I´d choose whites.

If you use black permanent marker then the black ones will look way better to

Although I prefer the white option, I think baddboybill is right with his observations regarding black. The current colour is a wishy-washy, indistinct shade of grey that looks more like faded black. Either way, white ( ) or black will give the BB's appearance an eye catching dimension.

Touching the cone paper with a marker? In my case I won't do that. That is a caveman approach!

The wet paper will slightly stretch depending on the applied pressure.

The dry crispness of the paper will be gone even though most of the solvent used in the ink escape.

An ultra thin layer of black flat paint enough to give that hiding is a much better approach!
